Nancy Elizabeth Long was born July 28, 1893 in Roark Cove Franklin County Tennessee. She had two brothers and five sisters. Her father was Henry Calvin Pearson and her mother was Minerva Allen Long. Nancy was raised by her grandmother Dollie Long. She married Willie Marion Buckner on December 25, 1914 in Franklin County. They had three boys and three girls. They moved from Franklin County to Chattanooga, Hamilton County after 1921. Later they moved to High Point, Walker County, Georgia. She died May 31, 1963 in High Point GA.
