Milton Nugent was probably born between 1810 and 1815. The following are census records that show all males in John Nugent's residents, after that there are no more males listed other than John. He is the only listed "Nugent" male in the John Nugent estate. Judging by the 1830 census record of Franklin County that the males 20 to 30 and under 5 may have been a brother / brother in law and son as there were many Neighbors families that had moved in the area. After the 1830 census I have found no records of Milton Nugent in any state. I have found a William M Nugent born in Sotuh Carolina around 1815. Census records show that he was a blacksmith by trade and both of his parents were from South Carolina with fits in line with the information I have on Milton. His wife Mary born circa 1818 in TN, daughter Mary born circa 1837 in TN, son John born circa 1840 in TN, daughter Virginia Caroline born circa 1843 in TN, daughter Martha Ann born circa 1845 in TN, son Samuel born circa 1847 in TN, and son William born circa 1849 in AL. They moved to Marshall county Alabama around 1848 in the Oleander area. By the 1880 censu William, Mary and daughters Virginia and Martha moved to Bellefonte in Boone county Arkansas. The last record in have found is a land Homestead of 93 acres in September 27, 1892. Also most of the names of the children are family names in this Nugent line. If any of this sounds like your line please let me know and we can compare notes.
